Armory Arts Week NYC Starts March 8th

In New York we're so lucky to have access to some of the best events for art and fashion in the world.  For those of you who aren't living here... that's why we're here!  Tracing its origins back to 1913, The Armory Show, and the much more recent Armory Arts Week, make up one of the world's premier contemporary and modern arts gatherings.  Armory Arts week, which consists of a series of shows, installations, parties, and fairs, takes place in each of the five boroughs of New York City and kicks off this Wednesday night with access to the public beginning on Thursday March 8th.

The main Armory Show takes place on the Hudson River at Piers 92 and 94 with a large event space converted into exhibition spaces for some of our favorite galleries like Takashi Murakami's Kaikai Kiki Gallery.  Other players involved in the event include the gamut of NYC arts power players- MoMa, The MET, Noguchi, and The Asia Society, to scratch the surface.

We're excited to bring you coverage starting on Thursday!
