Unique New York: Electric Zoo Festival 2011

New York City has limited space for music festivals but starting this Friday and running late into the night on Sunday is the Electric Zoo Festival.  Electric Zoo is the closest to Ibiza that you'll get without climbing into an airplane and flying for 7 hours.  The headlining acts are some of the biggest names in electronic music like MSTRKRFT, Skrillex, Boys Noize and Diplo.  Dope.  The festival is being held on Randall's Island which is a great location for some drunken dancing and partying.  The only problem is no subway access which means you'll need do find a friend with a boat or a car to get you there (or a city ferry or bus). You still have a couple days to buy tickets so get on it! The party is happening with our without you and trust us, you want to be there.
