I've always been partial to the J. Crew style and over all design aesthetic, but it's newest collab with Prabal Gurung has just taken things to a whole new level.
Gurung is no newbie in the fashion industry. He has trained all over the world, from India to England perfecting his skill; and after coming to America he has worked for the likes of Cynthia Rowley, later on becoming Design Director of Bill Blass. Since the launch of his own collection (Prabal Gurung), Gurung has been wowing crowds at fashion shows with his beautifully thoughtful designs all the while building a loyal following.
So far, having looked at a preview of the collection, I'm very much impressed by his use of bows in a lot of the pieces, but more so that his design compliments the J. Crew aesthetic oh so well.
Starting next week these beautiful pieces will be available in stores for purchase, however, they are
available for pre-order this week.
Prices are ranging from $198 to about $500.
