New Amsterdam Bike Show Recap
Honestly, we really don't know a lot about bikes, but now we know a little bit more thanks to the New Amsterdam Bike Show that rolled right into Soho this weekend.
Tons of exhibitors showed off their wares, from bikes of all shapes and sizes to cool clothing and gear to spruce up your ride. There was a bike fashion show, bells and whistles (literally), and free beer was served along with amazing hot dogs from Dutch eatery Vandaag. There were even some giveaways (which we did not win) and tons of bike-loving hipsters abound. The show benefitted Transportation Alternatives, an advocacy group that has worked to reclaim the streets from cars and improve New Yorkers' biking, pedestrian, and public transit experience. Check out our coverage of the event below.
