Fashion Girls for Japan Designer Sale @ The Bowery Hotel Recap

This past weekend marked the second annual Fashion Girls for Japan Designer Sale to benefit the ongoing tsunami recovery in Japan.  The event, which took place in a beautiful space on the second floor of the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan's East Village, was open to shoppers donating $5 or more to the cause.  Top designers for men and women like Alexander Wang, Thom Browne, and Rag + Bone filled racks and were priced at least 50% off.

When solifestyle arrived at the sale an hour before the doors opened to the public, VIP shoppers were already filling their bags, and outside, a line of people was waiting patiently in the rain to score amazing deals benefiting a great cause.  Last year's sale raised more than $275,000 for charity and we're sure that this go around was just as successful.

Check out some images of the event below, we're already looking forward to next year's sale!

Beautifully colorful prints were available at the sale which means that the Fashion Girls for Japan was the perfect place to get your wardrobe up to date for the warmer months to come!

Before doors opened to the public, VIP ticket holders got first dibs on the 60+ racks of designer clothes.

This year's sale included menswear for the first time with donations from top brands like Thom Browne.
