Alison Knowles to Make a Massive Salad on the High Line

Need some free salad? Well you're in luck, because this Sunday (Earth Day) visual artist Alison Knowles will be doling out some green stuff on the high line in the name of performance art.

The art piece, aptly titled Make a Salad, kicks off the High Line's new art performance series, which transforms the park into an open-air theatre. Knowles' Make a Salad has been staged around the world, including in London's Tate Modern. Music is also involved, the artist and her daughter chop the salad to the beat and then serve their creation to the audience. So if you're feeling a little iron-decificent, you know where to be on Sunday. Get more info here.
