CherryWatch 2012 at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden

As the weather is getting warmer and warmer, New Yorkers are coming out of their stuffy apartments and into the great outdoors.

If you want to spend sometime enjoying nature over the next few weekends, definitely visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's cherry blossoms, which are beginning to bloom. Marvel in the glory of the beautiful flowers as you walk down the Cherry Esplanade, or visit their tiny cousin in the Bonsai museum. The garden is also hosting a series of events as part of their Hanami festival, a Japanese tradition that celebrates the cherry blossom season. A map of what's in bloom now is below, but check the Brooklyn Botanic Garden website for updates and event info.
