Karl Lagerfeld NET-A-PORTER West Village Boutique

Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld has opened a boutique in the West Village that is so exclusive you can't actually buy anything there...yet. 

The pop-up shop will eventually sell Karl Lagerfeld's KARL collection for NET-A-PORTER, which includes clothing and shoes in his signature black and white color scheme, as well as a variety of novelty items featuring the icon himself on keychains, as an amigurumi, and a Tokidoki doll. You can order the items if you visit store, but can't actually buy anything there yet...an interesting concept. Prices range from $25 for a canvas tote, to a $945 black leather biker jacket. The entire clothing, shoe, and accessory collection is available on NET-A-PORTER, and it will be sold in the actual boutique in March. But for the more quirky stuff (eg. the crocheted Karl), you have to go to the boutique. Check out the boutique in photos below.
