Collages by Metaphorchid

Walking around Soho this weekend we were taken aback, quite literally, when we turned a corner and almost walked into this piece by the artist Metaphorchid. From what I can tell, he creates primarily collages, a lot of which are based on famous people in pop culture. I could stare that these pieces for hours - they are so insanely detailed and complex. The canvas above, titled "The Opera", is huge at 47 x 72 inches, and really made an impact on us. Check out the artist's etsy shop and website to see more of his work.
