Daphne Guinness Exhibit @ The Museum at F.I.T.

Daphne Guinness, muse, style icon, and legend in the fashion world is giving you a sneak peak into her very own wardrobe. Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, and more- all the greats are here in this beautiful exhibition.

I had a chance to check it out yesterday for myself, and I must say I was at a loss for words. Peering into Guinness' wardrobe was like entering the chamber of a queen. The exhibit was designed to reflect aspects of Guinness' own home, which I also imagine to be amazing, it was dramatic and otherworldly. I'm ashamed to admit that I wasn't able to make the McQueen show earlier this summer at the MET, but this sure made up for it (and there was no 2 hour line either!).

Visit the Museum at FIT from now until January 2012, you'll be glad you did.
