A Bathing Ape x Mark McNairy Camo Desert Boots

The standout Bape product for Fall 2011 is these desert boots which were produced in collaboration Mark McNairy.  Bape is known for stealing the silhouettes from other footwear companies so it's a pleasant change to see them work together with some great contemporary brands like Sperry, George Cox and McNairy this season.

The desert boots were produced in both olive and yellow canvas and patterned with the iconic A Bathing Ape duck hunter camouflage.  As you can expect from Mark McNairy the shoes are very sturdy and well constructed and like all items produced with Bape camo, the pattern is always different so each shoe is unique.  If you're in need of a pair yourself, your best bet is buying them from Japan.  The US price is much higher than Japanese retail and barely any pairs made there way to the New York Bape Store.
