Uniqlo - UT Save Japan T-Shirt Release

Saturday morning was the release of the Uniqlo Save Japan charity t-shirts in collaboration with GQ and Vogue Japan.  solifestyle made sure to be among the first in the door to get the Lady Gaga and Alber Elbaz designed t-shirts and we were pleasantly surprised not to be fighting with a hoard of resellers (a staple of NYC retail releases).   By late afternoon when we stopped back at Uniqlo there were still plenty of shirts left in all styles- a smart decision by Uniqlo because all of the proceeds are going towards the humanitarian efforts in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami earlier this year.  A detailed post on both shirts we bought coming later in the week.
