Uniqlo Finds
Because Uniqlo is so popular in New York City, taking a shopping trip to the store could result in lots of great purchases or disappointment. Many new items are constantly being added to the store and popular ones sellout quickly. If you like something, buy it immediately because you may not see it again, even a couple days later. We tested our luck this past weekend and came out on top. There were some good items in stock.
Take a look at our finds after the jump.
This is one of Paul's pick-ups. The bright and summery linen-blend is perfect for the warmer spring and summer weather ahead. One of the best things about Uniqlo is the fit of the clothing, it tends to fit slimmer than other brand and the button-ups happen to be cut perfectly for me. He'll look forward to wearing this with some dark jeans or some khaki shorts, and I'll look forward to stealing it from him. $24.90
I jumped all over this navy and white striped sweat blazer as soon as she saw it. It's rare that a blazer made out of sweatshirt material looks nice on the rack and when worn but this one definitely does. I tried it on while I was wearing a B&W striped shirt and they looked really cool together. Can't wait to wear this out. $29.90
My last pickup from my trip is this plain white zip sweatshirt. It may not look like anything but a plain white hoodie but one of the things Uniqlo is very good at is technical fabrics like Heattech. In this case, the sweatshirt features UV protective fabric which is amazing for sitting hanging out on the beach when you're too lazy to apply sunblock. Uniqlo is currently promoting this UV fabric and it is available on button-up shirts, cardigans and hoodies in an array of colors. $24.90
