Spring Outerwear: A.P.C. 2011 S/S Fishtail Parka

A.P.C. grows more on me every season.  It started with my love for their raw denim a couple years ago, but at this point I eagerly anticipate their understudied, detailed and well made clothing every time a new collection is about to launch.  The price is high, but not too high, and recently they've been doing some interesting collaborations to keep it interesting.  With each new collection, A.P.C. mails out a poster with all of the items that will be releasing and this season, when I received mine a few weeks ago, this coat jumped off the page at me.  A modern take on the traditional, yet still popular M-51 fishtail parka, A.P.C.  has created a slim fitting silhouette in a military satin finish that looks anywhere from khaki to olive depending on the lighting.

Sizing-wise I can't seem to put my finger on A.P.C. it seems to vary by season and item.  For their sweatshirts, t-shirts and knits, I seem to be a size M, but when trying on this jacket size XS fit me perfectly.  I'm not a tiny person, so I think if you normally wear size S this coat will be too big for you.
