Sneak Peek: Air Jordan 2011 'Year of the Rabbit'
Continuing this year's zodiac theme is the new Air Jordan 2011. The shoe holds special importance to Michael Jordan, as he was born in the year of the rabbit. The zodiac theme is found throughout the shoe as well as on the packaging itself and in my opinion, the execution was perfect.

With the relatively unpopular designs of the Jordan 2009 and 2010, designers went back to a simpler design with the 2011. From my experience thus far, it has been a hit with collectors as well as basketball players. This may be due to the increased technology and comfort as a ball shoe. First, it comes with two separate sets of insoles for two different styles of play. Secondly, it is one of the lightest Jordan game shoes ever produced. Combined with high quality italian leather, Jordan Brand surely did not leave anything behind with this release.
With this shoe, there are many details, which make it attractive to collectors as well as players. The alternating Jumpman and 23 on the tongue, as well as the Jumpman on the heel are very subtle, but enticing details. The icey sole, with metallic gold flakes sets the shoe off and makes it a head-turner. Comment and let us know your take on this new Jordan silhouette.
