Lunch as performance art

As a performance piece, the artist Alison Knowles would like to have lunch with you at the MoMA. Seriously. The lunch will be a tuna sandwich on wheat with butter and lettuce, with a cup of soup or glass of buttermilk. Everyone must enjoy the same lunch, as this piece is called, The Identical Lunch. Would you call this performance art? I'd call it a lunch with strangers.
