Comme Des Garcons PLAY x Converse Pro Leather Sneakers

The Comme des Garcons PLAY x Converse Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell have been great go-to sneakers for the past few years because of their subtle detailing and of course the hyped CDG PLAY heart logo.  The newest PLAY x Converse collaboration shakes this up a bit more with a bold print, four different colorways and a chunkier silhouette.

The Comme des Garcons x Converse Pro Leather is a cool shoe, but don't be fooled, there is no leather on this shoe.  It is a heavy canvas material.  Like the previous collaboration shoes, the print is somewhat shiny and gives the sneaker an interesting look.  The Converse logo appears on the side panel of the shoes and is barely visible amongst the all-over print (don't worry, all you see is hearts).  Available in both low and high-top versions this is a great spring and summer shoe to pair with a subtle pair of shorts and a plain t-shirt.  The CDG Play Pro Leather is currently only available from the Dover Street Market web store or the Comme des Garcons flagship in New York City.  Retail price is set at $140.  Check out some more pics below.
