Isaora Artist Project Charity Auctions
Isaora, our favorite local technical apparel company, is giving back to New York City and the surrounding areas with their latest project. Simply titled the Isaora Artist Project, the brand has worked with 13 contemporary, graphic, and street artists to create a series of one of a kind jackets which are currently being auctioned off to benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief effort.
The canvas for the project is Isaora's hyper-functional 3-L Riding Shell and the artists involved have gone to town on the jackets, from paint splatter to polka dots to bold graphics. All of the proceeds from the jackets, which have been designed and executed by awesome artists like Katsu and Curtis Kulig, will go to Waves 4 Water, an organization that brings clean water to those in need.
Bid here now! The auctions end tomorrow morning and having a framed jacket on your wall is a way more interesting conversation piece than a canvas or poster.
The participating artists are: Hisham Akira Bharoocha, Amelie Chabannes, Pete Chung & Patty Lu, Othelo Gervacio, Kenji Hirata, Seonna Hong, KATSU, Curtis Kulig, Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic, Kenzo Minami, Craig Redman, Rostarr, and Maayan Zilberman.
