Thursday Friday Spring/ Summer 2013 Collection

The girls at Thursday Friday have an appreciation for luxury handbags, so in 2010 they decided to put the image of one on a canvas tote bag.  The media buzz was huge, the wait list was long, and three years later Thursday Friday has expended their line from Chanel and Balenciaga inspired styles to vintage trunks and floral prints.  The bags are both a joke and an homage to the couture designers they represent, and just like their expensive counterparts, all of Thursday Friday's bags are limited edition.

When we got to see the Spring/ Summer 2013 Thursday Friday line, the trunk bags jumped right out at us.  Having a vintage trunk as a coffee table or statement decoration is awesome, but they're hard to find in good condition and in cities like NYC you'll never have space for one.  Thursday Friday's trunk totes are the answer, you can carry a mini version wherever you go.   The brand is also going floral with some kaleidoscope style photorealistic patterns (check the pics below).  If you like what you see, you can stop by Treasure and Bond in Soho or shop online to pick out your own.  Prices range from $90 to $35 depending on the size and style.
