Saint Laurent S/S 2013 Signature Lace Up Army Boots

New Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimane has just had his Spring Summer 2013 collection arrive in retail stores and already people are talking about what's next.  The upcoming Fall Winter 2013 collection looks great- grungy and rock and roll like an old season of Number (N)ine.  But back to the current collection which is all black with a splash or white and some leopard print here an there.  In person it looks amazing.

Among the standout items in the Saint Laurent S/S 2013 lineup were the ankle height army boots in black leather.  They were featured in the lookbook and have an angular, and consequently more edgy, silhouette than many of the boots available on the market today.  Using a thick polished leather to create a beautiful shine, the boots are a great way to accent a muted or all black outfit.  The construction is top notch (as it should be) and if you purchase them, you won't be disappointed.  They come in a large durable branded box with a Saint Laurent dust bag.  As for sizing, I recommend going down a half size.  They are available here.
