Pickup: Zara Sale Finds
has been cleaning out all of their Fall/ Winter 2012 inventory in the last few weeks. Though most of the smaller sizes and good items are long gone, if you find the right Zara store, there are still deals and steals to be had. Most of the brand's F/W 2012 collection was a 'look for less' vision of avant garde fashion with drop crotch pants, draped coats and oversized t-shirts so it was right up my alley.
From the piles of disorganized clothing I was able to salvage the long sleeved shirt above which uses layered fabric to create a high-end look as well as a pair of knit drop crotch pants. The shirt was marked down to $15 from $50 and the pants were $40 down from $90. The t-shirt is pretty straight forward, but I definitely found the bottoms to be the steal of the day, the quality is quite high and they have some nice details like ribbed, button cuffs and a contrasting crotch panel.
