Oakley Introduces Customizable Frogskin Sunglasses
It's like Nike iD but with sunglasses. For a while now, Oakley has had a feature on their website that allows you to customize their frames with color, material, lens style and etching. But just recently they've added the Frogskin frame to their lineup of glasses to personalize.
The Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses were first introduced in the early 80s but have become popular again in the last few years along side similar shaped frames like the Ray-Ban Wayfarers. I've been a fan of the style since I saw the all gold Supreme x Oakley Frogskins from 2007 and have gone through a few pairs since. Until now, the glasses were produced in limited runs, often in collaborations with streetwear brands or athletes like Valentino Rossi, which made it hard to find the exact lens/ frame combination you might have wanted. But now, for $120 you can make a custom color way on Oakley's website. Check it out!
