Dining Al Fresco @ Water Works Restaurant, Philadelphia
One of my favorite things to do during the spring and summer is eat a great meal by the water, and the Water Works restaurant in Philly allows you to do just that. Set overlooking the famous boathouse row and the Schuylkill river (which is almost impossible to spell), the restaurant serves an awesome Sunday brunch buffet, complete with omelet and crepe bar, cheese platters, antipasto, carving stations, and a full spread of delectable desserts.
The most unique feature of the restaurant is probably the extensive water menu, which lists about 50 different varieties of H2O. The water goes from about $7 a bottle to $50, and it comes from all over the world, from Tasmania to Wales, New Zealand to the good ol' US of A. So if you're looking to hydrate and have a great meal before visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Rodin Museum, or any other Philly landmark, this is the spot.
