The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Releases Saturday June 9th 2012

Part moon boot, part Jordan, and 1000% hype the Nike Air Yeezy 2 is slated for release this weekend.  The shoe is one of those kicks that transcends sub-culture boundaries to appeal to everybody from fans of Kanye's music to sneaker heads to fashionistas.  The struggle will be getting your pair.  Retail price on the shoes is $245 but like the release of the original Yeezy, sneaker boutiques are sure to add a little bit extra on top for the trouble of managing the hoards of people which will show up to Saturday's drop.

Nike touted that the official list of retailers would be available this week, and, while the actual list has yet to show up, stores are finally getting confirmations that they will stock the Pure Platinum and Solar Red Yeezy 2.  Boutiques who have already confirmed Saturday's release include Ubiq in Philadelphia, Nice Kicks in Austin and Livestock in Canada- the latter two are offering a raffle draw to purchase the shoe.  We know more shops will be dropping information in the coming days and the resale value is going to be huge.  Who's planning on getting them?
