Levi's 510 Super Skinny - A High Fashion Cut at an Affordable Price
If you've been reading SOLIFESTYLE since the beginning you know that denim is my thing. If you name a brand or cut I probably have an opinion on it, so I'm excited to talk about what I've found to be the best skinny cut jean for the price- the Levi's 510 Super Skinny. The 510 cut is comparable to Dior Homme's 17.5 cm style but without the ridiculous inseam length and price tag which is a great thing not only for your fashion game but for your wallet as well.
Levi's really hit the nail on the head with this one, the 510 fits skinny with a tiny bit of stretch (again just like the Dior 17.5cm), that little bit of stretch is just enough to make the pants look great (no stuffed sausage effect) while still feeling like denim. As with most of Levi's USA's styles, there is an ever changing variety of washes and at an average price of $60 a pair, you can afford to buy a few. The Super Skinny was also made into a khaki chino which fits just as well as the jeans. It's a great look for the summer.
My only complaint with the 510 is the sizing inconsistency. I've tried on the dark wash, black, grey and chino varieties and I only wear the same size in two of the 4. In the dark wash I wear 30, black and chino I wear 31 and in the grey I wear 32 or 33 so I definitely recommend trying before you buy. On average though, I'd size down 1 from your regular waist size due to the stretch. You can buy them
or at your local Levi's store.
