Prada & Schiaparelli @ The Met Costume Institute Opens Today

Designs by two amazing Italian female designers in one place at one time. The place is the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute, and the time is now. 

The exhibition titled Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada’s Impossible Conversations opens to the public today. On display are designs and accessories by the two incredible women, whose designs play off each other even though they're from totally different eras. Highlights include items from the Prada archives (take me there now) and films on display throughout the space, which were directed by Baz Luhrmann. With surrealism being a major theme, the iconic pieces on display will no doubt be out of this world. This exhibition is a must see for fashionistas and fashionistos alike.
