Armory Arts Week Recap
Armory Arts Week kicked off all over the city last Wednesday, with major events at all of the important museums, and special exhibits at various event spaces throughout Manhattan. solifestyle made stops at both the Armory Show and Volta to chat with galleries and artists, and take part in one of the year's most anticipated modern and contemporary art celebrations.
The Armory Show, which takes place at Pier 92 and Pier 94 on the West Side Highway near 55th street, showcases over a hundred galleries from around the world and some amazing artwork in all mediums imaginable. Equally as interesting, but slightly more experimental, Volta, a solo project contemporary art fair featured some unbelievably imaginative multimedia works.
