Tabatha Book Release and Signing at The Hole NYC
I think it's safe to say that when most of us were 21 we weren't deeply involved in a clothing line, writing a column for a widely circulated magazine, or publishing our first book. Then again, we're not Tabatha McGurr. There's only one of her, and she's doing it all...in serious style. In addition to being an integral part of streetwear brand Married to the Mob, which was one of the first lines we learned about when we arrived in NYC in 2005, Tabatha has a regular column in Complex Magazine and just last night, released her first book, simply titled 'Tabatha' at The Hole in NYC.
By the time we arrived at the release party and signing, which took place at the gallery shop and spilled into the Giverny exhibit's gardens, the books were already sold out, so we snagged a Tabatha t-shirt for ourselves. The party goers were all fashionable and cool, and the added bonus of the night was that street art and graffiti legend Futura (did we mention he is Tabatha's dad?) was also hanging out (see below). The book, which is filled with Tabatha's writing, artwork and photography can be purchased for $25 here. Check out pictures from the event below.
